dd-wrt, which I've used extensively, is a rough-and-tumble community. Its boards can be n00b unfriendly, not tolerating those seen as fools well. Its website tends to be stale and its wiki and documentation often contain outdated information. Not all (not many?) pages have up-to-date info to supersede the outdated. OTOH, OpenWRT does seem a more friendly, welcoming and, frankly, helpful

DD-WRT router database down?
